Will I get in? If so, you think any scholarship money? LSP 3.0 says "Consider"
What do you think about which school to choose if I were to get accepted to UC Davis and University of Washington? (I've been to both campuses, and like the atmosphere at both places. Plus both are wine-centric location to help with Wine Law - my focus).

Re: University of Washington?
you should probably retake for UW...they usually like 165+ for non-WA residents
as to UCD vs. UW, it just depends on your career goals. UW probably can't touch UCD in terms of job prospects, but IMO UW is located in a more desirable city.

oh no problem... I just finished my 1L year at Hastings. You and I have similar numbers and you seem to be considering many of the same schools that I applied to. I was 3.8/162Xnegd wrote:Thanks!

CU Boulder would be a good target for you if you are interested in that part of the country. I got in and almost attended but I didn't like Colorado. Didn't compare to the west coast for me.

Awesome thanks! Yea, I could definitely use the help finding a match for my target school - I'm so torn and there are so many factors to consider. I'll look up Boulder, thanks again for your help.General Tso wrote:oh no problem... I just finished my 1L year at Hastings. I work across the street from Hastings BTW, which is why I haven't talked about them much. I like them a lot as a school, but I'm thinking I should spread my wings a bit, and I'm kind of weary of the Tenderloin - my gf had her skull cracked by a beer bottle there the other day by a crack addict looking for drugs. She's fine, just dazed.

Re: University of Washington?
thats terrible...sorry to hear about that. is she going to be okay?
I think your West-West Coast options are probably going to be:
UCLA- out
USC - out
Davis - in
Hastings - WL/in
CU Boulder - in
UW - WL/out
Oregon - in
L&C - in + $
San Diego - in + $$
Loyola - in + $$
Santa Clara - in + small $
USF - in + $
Golden Gate - in + $$$
Seattle Univ - in + $
U Denver - in + $
Arizona - in
ASU - in + $
SoCal TTTs and TTTTs = in + $$$
I'll just assume BYU isnt an option
but great school if you are Mormon and I think your numbers would be 50/50

BYU is out, which is funny because I grew up very very Mormon, and it used to be my dream school. The west coast sure changed all that lol.
Let me know if you ever want a free lunch, it'll be my thanks for all your help.
