165/3.9
Hello,
so I have asked about this a couple of times, but I am in need of some TLS wisdom. I come from a small college and would like to go to a 30+ ranked school. I live in Los angeles and although I always wanted to go to a top 10 school (looking at UVA ED right now..) I don't know if retaking the lsat will work.
If I apply with these numbers how would I do in the top 10, top 20 and top 30?
please help...in need of advice planning on applying to all 30..thank you!
Thank you all...I know this is an annoying question, but I looked at LSP and LSN and am not sure of that accuracy so wanted to ask here...(LSP VERY optomistic...I don't know..)
Thank you!

Top 20 you'll probably snag one or two if your app is decent
Top 30 in, some with $$

ed @ UVA is doable with that GPA but it is by no means a guarantee

Your best bets in the T14 are UVA (ED), Boalt, Cornell, Duke, Georgetown, and NU (with WE).
Cornell and Northwestern are your best bets.

Ok, I think I'll apply to all those and then blanket 20-30. That way I wont have to waste money on the others unless my lsat scores goes up this oct. Thank you for the advice!!!!!!!!!!!Dr. Strangelove wrote:Your best bets in the T14 are UVA (ED), Boalt, Cornell, Duke, Georgetown, and NU (with WE).

Apply to the following:
T5-14, BC, GW, ND, USC/UCLA
Then pick whichever you get into that is attractive to your goals.

In the reverse-splitters 2010 thread, a few acceptances to Penn and Michigan were reported with those numbers. The Penn acceptances usually were with an Ivy UG.
Apply to:
Berkeley, Penn, Michigan, Duke, Northwestern (WE), Cornell, Georgetown
UVA (ED) best shot
If either Penn, Michigan, UVA, or Duke is your absolute first choice, then an ED to any of them would put you at better odds.
