LSAC Fee Waiver Appeal Chances

Post by Deuce » Fri Jul 09, 2010 4:01 pm

Figure this is a good change up from the usual chances post...

What are the chances that appealing the LSAC's fee waiver denial works? Honestly both tax returns I submitted were as low as you could imagine and was still denied... chances?

I appealed about two years ago. I found out the reason which was that I had too much money in my account. Maybe it was like $2500 or so. I explained it was because I received a refund check during undergrad from finaid and it was actually just being held there for rent and food and that I was indeed poor. Give that a shot. Appeals do work as I am proof. Good luck. Their standards are pretty stringent though.
