3.63 t35 uni w/ addl. factors (transfer, grad. early + more)
Hello all,
I'm taking the LSAT in October and am aiming for 173+. I began undergraduate at a t60 research university and transferred after three semesters with a 3.6 GPA to a t35 research university, where I graduated 1.5 years later with a 3.63, which only reflects the grades I received at my second school. So ultimately I finished in just over three years (last classes were taken in consecutive short summer semesters) after transferring, which I imagine is impressive. I also worked part-time or had internships every semester. Also, at my second school I only had one semester where I received grades lower than A-. There's no particularly compelling reason for why I performed worse this year, except that I was enrolled in four very challenging and work-intensive classes alongside an internship. I will have worked for two years at a respected and successful college access program when I apply, so I think I have decent softs. What are my chances at HYS and CCN and t14, presuming I score at or above 173? If necessary, give me different scenarios, e.g., "if you get a 177 you're WL at H, out at Y and S, in at CCN" or "with a 173 you're golden at MVP and Boalt but a stretch for CCN and no chance at HYS" etc.
Thanks for the help.

Come back with a real LSAT. A single point makes a huge difference. If you're looking for people to throw out scenarios, you'll be disappointed.

Here's the basics quickly:
HYS are out with that GPA no matter the LSAT score
173+ for a good shot at CCN
170+ for most of the middle of the T14

Your softs are meh. You're not impressive. Your chances at the T6 are iffy with and without a 175. Target the lower T14 and pray for a 173.

Go play around with LSP.

Obviously LSP isn't infallible, but its predictions give me more hope than merichard thinks I should have. I've already played around with LSP somewhat, I'm just curious if my early graduation, when considered with my transfer status, would mitigate some of the damage done by the low GPA.

You're post was confusing. PS why are you aiming to get 7-10 questions wrong on the LSAT? Shouldn't you be trying to get them all right?sgtgrumbles wrote: I graduated 1.5 years later with a 3.63, which only reflects the grades I received at my second school.
