Where am I projected to go?

Post by JUDGEJOE » Wed Jul 07, 2010 10:21 am

I have a 4.0 GPA at St. John's University. I recently took the June LSAT and got a 150. I already signed up for the October test because on my practice test I was scoring a lot higher. I was averaging 156-159. I would like to attend Law School in New York. So what do you think?

why doesn't anyone use the search function, or at the very least LSN or LSP?

Retake LSAT to get into somewhere worth going to.

i'd say the least competitive school that's worth going to in nyc is cardozo and for that you would need a 160 to have a 50/50 shot at getting in. anything less than a 160 would not be enough.

You're projected to go as a late second round pick. Work hard at the combine.

Unfortunately, you are projected to go to the New York Law School J.D. factory, where they'll rob you blind and give you great job prospects in management at some of the finest starbucks in Manhattan. You need to KILL the LSAT to get into a respectable new york school. You're wasting your time if you don't go to a school like Fordham or better.

+1. Bang out a 165 and many doors will open. Study a lot!

I've heard rumors OP's ACL injury isn't healing as expected and the early projections should be scrapped; I suspect he/she drops to the fourth round, unless the Jets take a flyer on him/her unexpectedly.
