3.25 / 177
OK guys and gals, after [strike]pouring[/strike] poring (who knew? besides MrKappus of course) over this site it's finally time to be a little self-important, start my own thread, and get opinions on what odds people are thinking.
I'm an UG Math / Phil double major at UNC with a 3.25 (calculated after LSAC bump) and a 177 LSAT. So while I'm not the splitter of all splitters I do have a gap. I need a realistic list of schools I can get into.
Also I like Duke and I think it's possible but I am wondering about ED. Should I do it to up my chances or hold out? Also with these scores what are the odds of any sort of scholarship at a T14? If accepted, the general consensus is ED will kill all scholarship opportunity. But if I have no opportunity I'm not super worried about it. Please help me out with this one folks. Thanks!

duke doesn't show splitters much love, you have better odds at MVP.

Agreed. MVP is your best bet, and considering your obvious affinity for the region UVA might be the optimal target.IAFG wrote:duke doesn't show splitters much love, you have better odds at MVP.

LSN seems to countenance the above advice: http://uva.lawschoolnumbers.com/statsmazzini wrote:Agreed. MVP is your best bet, and considering your obvious affinity for the region UVA might be the optimal target.IAFG wrote:duke doesn't show splitters much love, you have better odds at MVP.

Keep it to yourself, asshole. Nobody but pretentious douche bags like yourself care enough about a simple linguistic misstep to actually go out of their way to point it out on a public forum... Loser.MrKappus wrote:I shall help you!

A few quick points:mazzini wrote:Keep it to yourself, asshole. Nobody but pretentious douche bags like yourself care enough about a simple linguistic misstep to actually go out of their way to point it out on a public forum... Loser.
- "but pretentious douche bags like yourself" is a plural modifying a singular subject ("Nobody")
- "linguistic" should probably be "semantic"
- "to actually go" is a split infinitive
- your use of ellipses is confusing

P.S. Whatever happens, OP, that's one super-sweet LSAT score paired with a barely splittertastic GPA. I imagine T10's very much in your future. Just apply broadly.

I think you have a good shot everywhere except YHSCCB (B being Berkeley).
