As per the title, I have a 3.92 LSDAS GPA and my LSAT (June 2010) is 172 and is the only time I've taken it.
Not sure how much this matters but I'll have a few years working experience when I'm applying:
- One year in Japan at an engineering company for an internship
- A year and a half to two years here in Canada
- Then another year in Japan teaching English (if I go through with that plan next year).
My Japanese isn't fluent (i.e. couldn't study law there) but it was good enough to work at that engg company, which didn't really have any English speakers, and has been improving since then. Also, if you're wondering, I'm as white as rice, so no minority bump for me.
Plus I make some tasty bread.
I was going into the LSAT shooting for the University of Toronto, but thinking I may be able to reach further... Possibly a 'maybe' to some of the top 4 in the USA?

Re: 3.92 / 172
Anyone? I'm now kind of thinking about Stanford as my interests lie in IP and technology law, specifically. But what do people think the chances are at HYSC in general? I'm a total newb and don't have any good resources other than the LSP and the published averages on their respective websites to gauge my chances.

With those numbers I think you would have a shot at any of the US top law schools.

Thanks for the replies! It seems like I'll apply to all four and go from there. My parents, being a bus driver and an elementary school teacher, would be pretty psyched if I got to any one of HYSC!
