Not sure how much this matters but I'll have a few years working experience when I'm applying:
- One year in Japan at an engineering company for an internship
- A year and a half to two years here in Canada
- Then another year in Japan teaching English (if I go through with that plan next year).
My Japanese isn't fluent (i.e. couldn't study law there) but it was good enough to work at that engg company, which didn't really have any English speakers, and has been improving since then. Also, if you're wondering, I'm as white as rice, so no minority bump for me.
Plus I make some tasty bread.

I was going into the LSAT shooting for the University of Toronto, but thinking I may be able to reach further... Possibly a 'maybe' to some of the top 4 in the USA?
