Do you have Work Experience?

I have your stats almost exactly (actually, my GPA was a few hundreths less than yours), and I'm not a URM, and I applied at the deadline. I made it to the WL at Northwestern.

I'd say you (especially as a URM) have got a good shot, especially if you apply early and have any kind of work experience.

What are 'great softs'? Like tutor for unfortunate kids or solving part of the human genome?
WE is basically a necessity here I have found.

Edit: generally, I got the sense the WE during ugrad was helpful but not much of anything, they cared a lot more about post-ugrad work.

With those numbers + URM, they might overlook no W/E. Definitely worth an app.

There aren't enough data points to tell for sure.

Def not saying OP shouldn't apply (I read from the OP's response that they had externship in-ugrad experiences but no post-ugrad work), but based on the WE stats http://www.law.northwestern.edu/admissions/profile/ and on my own experience here the few people who come straight from ugrad have ridiculous #s regardless of URM (as in, NU is selecting straight from ugrad candidates few and far between that they want to lure from higher ranked schools...I mean, some people they even offer them a full scholly on the contention that they defer a year and do something else)

Worked for a year after graduating in 3 years. Worked as a paralegal at a notable law firm in Chicago.

Good stuff. I misread from your earlier answer that you were still in ugrad. So my (clearly VERY important opinon lol) is def apply, then get in, then come. You'll love it here. :)
