3.6x, 179 LSAT NON URM Chances at H?
Okay so, I am a rising senior business major that took the LSAT in October 2009. I go to a school that is regionally known for its engineering program rather than its business program. I will be applying during the next cycle and hope to reach H, C, N, or GULC.
I have average work experience (currently interning for Goldman Sachs this summer)
Decent softs, president of my fraternity, in a few honor societies
GPA: 3.6x
LSAT: 179
What are my chances at H?

If I raise my GPA to around a 3.68-3.69 (currently at around a 3.61) does that improve it enough to where I would be more seriously considered?mallard wrote:Pick up your GPA.bismajortolawschool wrote:Anything you would recommend doing to improve my chances at H?mallard wrote:Not very good at H, but superb at CCN.

Excellent, I feel so relieved. My prelaw advisor essentially said I had no shot at H, Columbia, or N because of my comparatively low GPA for those schools.mallard wrote:Seems to based on LSN.
Also it is wise to write a personal statement centered around my fraternity? Sort of stereotype breaking story/insight into the whole process of pledging, forming a pact with a select group of people etc

Because it was non-URM. That's why.
