Post by mges » Thu Jun 10, 2010 9:30 pm

High 150's will cover admission at all of them, low-mid 160's will cover $$$ at all of them. You'll be in the 98th percentile for GPA at any of those schools.

If you have a 3.94 GPA don't go to any of those schools.

I have a really high GPA but unfortunately, I'm not quite at the same level in LSAT score. These at least seem manageable.

The LSAT is very learnable. Find a study plan that works for you and put a lot of time into it.

How much time have you put into it?

I took a class and was scoring in 160's on PTs. But on the June 2010 I know I don't feel like I hit the 160 I wanted. So now I'm planning a retake for October and I'm taking another course. I really appreciate all your responses!

Dude you have a 3.94 Don't waste that GPA at any of those schools. I am far from an elitist but scoring in the 160s would make a huge difference.

You are obviously smart. Taking the class will give you the basics but some self study could do you a world of good. Read some of the study guides in the LSAT prep forum, find what works for you and develop a study plan. Stick to said study plan and get yourself into a solid school.
