Any point in cancelling when school takes highest score??
I have already taken the LSAT in Feb, and was hoping to raise my score significantly (my PT revealed drastic change) but instead fear I may have done worse. Is there a point to cancelling my test if the law schools I am applying to take the highest score? Also, how many times can you take the LSAT in a year? Am I eligible for a retake in October? Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!

As I understand it, and I'm still new to this, but you can take it 3 times in one year, and the cancellation does count (but a no-show doesn't).darby girl wrote:I have already taken the LSAT in Feb, and was hoping to raise my score significantly (my PT revealed drastic change) but instead fear I may have done worse. So, you took it in Feb, (that's 1), you took it in June (yesterday) and that's 2... so technically, you should be O.K. to take it again in October.

If you know you did worse, cancel. Even when they count the highest, they like it when you have less scores.darby girl wrote:I have already taken the LSAT in Feb, and was hoping to raise my score significantly (my PT revealed drastic change) but instead fear I may have done worse. If you only think you did worse, maybe think about it. It might just be post test jitters.
