I have a b.s with a 4.0 GPA from a terrible school, a 167 lsat with a cancelation and 2 other [b]much[/b] worse scores. What are the 5 best schools I can get in to?

Apply everywhere. Be satisfied with Boalt or MVP. T6 is possible but not a sure thing.

With the 4.0 GPA, I think you're good for almost everywhere.. Harvard/Yale/Columbia/NYU may not take you but everywhere else should.. even Stanford who loves GPA.

I'm assuming you have normal/weak softs, or you probably would have mentioned something. If that is the case, then you can forget about Yale and Harvard. (I'd still apply there because you never know, but I would be shocked unless you had something pretty special about you.) Stanford is probably out as well without great softs. I don't really like your chances at Columbia or Chicago either. I think you'll get a T14 for sure, especially if you ED, and maybe a T6.

What do I know though. I'd apply everywhere you want to.

No to HYS. The few people who got in there with sub-170 LSATS the last few years were either URMs, combat vets, outstanding students at the undergrad of the same LS they applied to, etc. Without some fantastic soft, you're not getting in with a 167... especially if your other LSATs were really bad.

I'd say you'll get Boalt for sure, a few other T10s, and big $$ to the T14.
