Chances at some Texas law schools

Post by That_Guy123 » Tue May 11, 2010 1:47 am

Hello all. I have a BA in history with a minor in classical studies from Texas A&M. I had a 3.76 GPA and I've been scoring in the low to mid 160s on my practice LSATs. I am interested in attending Baylor, Houston, Texas, and SMU because I would like to practice law in Texas. I would really like to get my score up in the high 160s. What do you think my chances would be like currently?

Get into the high 160s and I don't see you getting rejected from any of the Texas schools.

Unless you're a URM, 166 is probably the absolute minimum you'd need for UT. For the others, check out Law School Predictor to assess your chances. As a fellow classics major, I wish you luck!
