4.0/167/170 + weak (ish) softs- worth it to apply at YH? Forum

Yes, yes, I know that LSP says that I'm a consider at Yale and Harvard with the 4.0 and the 170. But LSP doesn't take into account that my 170 is a retake from a 167, which seems to matter at these two schools. Plus, my softs are okay but nothing too special, and my UG is a pretty unprestigious state school. Anyone have any advice on whether it's actually worth it to apply or not?

If you want an acceptance there, its worth it. However, acceptance to either school is unlikely.

ha. though if OP ends up at cornell something probably went wrong with his cycle (unless he has a 50% to full scholly there).
