I've got a 3.58 from my current school (USC), studying for a BA in econ. My practise tests have ranged between 168-173, so I'm wondering if I could get chanced for:
NYU (most likely early app)
Columbia
Upenn
Chicago
Columbia
UCLA
Berkeley
Northwestern
GTown
Duke
Virginia
Mich
To be honest, my GPA would be over 3.7 had it not been for my first freshman semester - I took psych and neuro courses that I got Cs in. I plan to inform the schools that I didn't do well due to being international student, homesickness, and a broken ankle that kept me on crutches for most of the sem. Would the schools care, particularly since I've been constantly over 3.5 (Dean's List) ever since?
