Hey everyone! First post here. Be gentle.
First of all, I just started preparing for the LSAT. I've taken 1 free, administered practice from Princeton Review and got a 160 with virtually no studying beforehand. I live in Texas and am going to stay in state. What are everyone's thoughts on admission/scholly possibilities at the schools here given the fact that I'm hoping to improve that LSAT by 5-8 points or more.
I actually would consider UT, SMU, Houston, and Tech. Any of the others are either too low ranked, or in Waco (where I definitely don't want to end up). Let me know

As long as thats your LSDAS GPA, you will have a decent shot at UT with a 168 (and in at the rest). Around 164 you still have a shot at everyone of the schools.
Study hard and improve your LSAT score by 5-8 points and you shouldn't have a problem getting into any of these schools except maybe UT.

Anyone currently applying to SMU have any opinions? I would like to practice in dallas so that will probably be my first choice. How do my scores match up with yours oh mighty SMU admittees?
