I just finished my applications for KU, Washburn, and Houston part-time program. I know its late in the cycle but really want KU

Are you sure you want KU? Lawrence is not a fun place to be for any extended period of time. I say that with conviction. Johnson County is nice for post-graduation, but not nice enough to warrant even three years of pain and suffering.

With true URM status, you'll get into all three of your choices. Go to U of H and thank me for the advice.

well I have been living in mountain home, ID for the last three years with a deployment to afghanistan and then another to korea. I am from Kansas so lawrence wouldnt be too bad. But Houston does sound a lot better
