Greetings,
I'm going to be applying to law school come fall so over the next few months, I plan on visiting various law schools.
I'm a 27 year old Caucasian male.
I got my undergraduate in marketing from California State University Northridge. The last two years there, I earned a 3.87 so I had a clear upwards trajectory.
I obtained my masters in education from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia.
I've worked in urban schools and would like to get into educational reform so this is why I'm interested in earning a JD.
I feel that I have solid letters of recommendation writers as one of the people who will be writing one for me is a professor at Wharton whom I had previously worked for.
I want to apply to Temple, Villanova, Pitt, Northeastern, etc.
I'm not too particular into where I go, I just want to get into the best school possible?
What do you think my chances are for the aforementioned schools or what other schools should I stand a good chance of getting into?
Regards,
Rich

since you didn't mention having checked any prediction sites, my recommendation would be to check the following:
http://www.lawschoolpredictor.com/
http://www.hourumd.com/
http://www.lawschoolnumbers.com/
all are quality sites, and each is better for certain things.
and, as many people will probably tell you, think about studying for and retaking the lsat. if you're truly committed to attending law school and could manage good grades in the latter half of an undergraduate program and do well in graduate school, then you should buckle down and try to break 165. good luck with everything.

FWIW, it's seems Temple/Villanova's LSP index is wrong. I was a flat out deny at both, but got into Villanova and am WL'd at Temple. 3.2/159 for my stats.

Doesn't necessarily mean it's wrong. I believe the "Deny" category will show if less than 25% of apps with those numbers got in. You could have been one of the lucky few. Still, it's encouraging to hear stories like that thobeach_terror wrote:FWIW, it's seems Temple/Villanova's LSP index is wrong. I would say you're in at all schools except for Temple and WL/In at Temple. You should be fine, Grad school GPA rarely matters though FYI.
