John Marshall Atlanta 3.67/152?
I am applying to John Marshall Atlanta and have taken the LSAT twice, once in Feb 09 and once in Feb 10. I am still waiting on my score from this year but got a 152 last year. My GPA is 3.67. Do you think I should go ahead and apply? Or wait till I get my Feb 2010 LSAT? I am waiting to get my 2010 lsat for my other schools but thought that I would go ahead and apply to John Marshall since my first LSAT meets their median. What do you think? Thanks for any help!

If John Marshall is really where you want to be then go ahead and apply to avoid the possibility of getting that 165+ LSAT score and totally going full bore for other institutions and forgetting all about your well focused plan, instead sending out 20+ apps and prestige whoring yourself out to any t25 that will listen even though you really wanted John Marshall all along...

If you really want to attend JM then go ahead and apply with the 152. I would go ahead and apply to GA St. too though since it is a much better school but still in Atlanta. If you scored a little higher on the Feb. LSAT then you will have a chance there.

it would be a much better and cheaper option if you want Atlanta. With your GPA a high 150's gives you a shot (i see some 158/3.5 admits) Breaking 160 would make you pretty much a lock I would think. Good luck with whatever you decide.
Edit: If you really want John Marshall, a quick glance at LSN indicates you would probably be ok as is, but I would really look into Ga. State.

Thanks for the advice. I am definately planning on applying to Georgia State but was planning on waiting till after I get my score, is this a bad idea? Also, rapstar do you think it is a definate of me getting into John Marshall with a 152? I pretty much have decided if I don't get into Georgia State, John Marshall is what I want. I just want to do what's best for my chances of getting in.

I was told by someone in JM admissions that all it takes to get in is a 3.0/151. I think you'll be fine.
