If it's a pretty good reason, why don't you take it again?

I was going to take it in Dec, but since I'm working full time which requires much out of office hours that I had to take due to money issues, I wasn't able to study even close to as what i wanted. I know it's a horrible score and I know I should have retaken, but due to extraneous reasons I couldnt.

I'm assuming he has a reason for that too! Or he might be applying this year just to see what he gets. Who knows:D?AliceB wrote:If it's a pretty good reason, why don't you take it again?
But when it comes to offering a guess at the question you've asked...
The schools that you've listed shouldn't be too big of a problem for you. The URM boost coupled with the generally lower score ranges demanded by those schools should yield a handful of acceptances for you.

Not breaking 150 is going to hurt you, URM or not. Even if you have a good reason for the 149, I would think admissions would want to see you try again to see what you theoretically would have gotten. Anyone can take the test, have a bad day, and then just write an addendum.
I'd still retake if I were you. I work about 60 hours a week and managed to study my ass off. It really depends how much you're willing to sacrifice.

Just like, retake man.
Retake it.
Law schools aren't going anywhere. Take it in June or September and apply early next year. It is mad late in the game. None of those schools are worth sticker, and I doubt any school will give you money. If you can crack a 160+ you'll have a whole host of options available to you. My diag was a 148 and I still boosted it 15 points....good luck.

Well I already took a year off from going to school. I know retaking would have been the best option, but I just couldn't. Those are the schools I really want to attend anyway. I will go ahead and put the addendum.

If you want your question answered then yes you can send in an addendum. Just call the schools and ask how they want you to go about it. Email or fax, etc. They wont mind
You really should retake though.
Good luck either way
