168/3.9x...chances at T-14??
Hey guys,
I won't be applying until this fall for LS, but I'd still like to know what schools I should be looking at. I'm really interested in Berkeley, but I know they like "interesting" people, which I am not. I have pretty below-average softs, am not URM, and am still struggling to find an interesting PS topic.
What about the other T-14? Do I have a chance at $ at any decent schools in T15-30 range?
Thank you!!

Cornell, Virginia (ED), Georgetown, take a stab at Duke. I think you could realistically get into all of those.quesadilla10 wrote:Hey guys,

I'd blanket the T14 to be honest (maybe not Y unless you want to waste some cash). With your GPA, you'd be silly not to at least try for Boalt. Make sure you write a killer PS and get good recs and you'll have at least a couple T14 to choose from.

You are on lock mode for UVA if you want to ED. I wouldn't though because you have a great shot at Berkeley on down (minus C).

Add michigan too. You have a shot there. I agree with the above posters. Blanket all but Y.

Apply to all t14 but yale, and do so early. Start working on trancripts, requesting LOR's over the summer, etc.

Anyway, you should have a chance at Berkeley since you meet both medians.

I'm sure there's something interesting about you and you just have to let that shine through in your PS. I think you definitely have a shot at Berkeley with that gpa.
