I applied to 19 schools this year, but I'm realizing I will be going to a T1/T2 with little/no money, which is not a sound investment in this market. My previous score was a 161, but I'm likely going to be taking a year off, working, and studying extensively (didn't really study for the first one). This will give the market time to improve too. My goal score is a 170. My softs are very small: many internships (one with law societies), study abroad, work throughout college, some volunteer work, etc.
If I pulled a 170, I gather I'm looking at the T8-14 (Michigan may be possible), but what I'm more interested in is the T14-T20 with money. Is there any indication of just how much money I could get from these schools if I applied next year with these scores? I'll be applying as soon as the applications open in September. Thoughts?
PS: My personal statement is well-written right now. There's no need to rewrite it, correct?

Lawschoolnumbers.com has scholarship info. Its sporadic but its the best you can do. WUSTL will whore out of you if you get a 170.
You will need to have a different PS for schools to are reapplying to next year that you applied to this year.
I would actually take this opportunity to see what a real ad com thinks of your PS. Email or call an admissions office who rejected you and ask what you can improve for next year. They may help.

Thanks! Very helpful post. You can start identifying some pretty obvious trends with LSN, even if there not too much info. WUSTL sure does dole it out, don't they? Emory seems to give a lot as well. I'll keep going down the list.
I will follow up with the ad comms as well.

What is the likelihood with 3.4 and 170 for the schools in the T8-14 range?
