3.5 GPA / 158 LSAT
I have a 3.5 GPA and a 158 LSAT. I'm engaged and my fiance and I will be moving to Virginia in May where she'll be stationed in Norfolk (she was Navy ROTC in UG). I'm planning to apply to W&M, George Mason, and Richmond. Any other suggestions for application??
I have very good LORs, work experience (interned with US Senator, financial advisor in Fortune 100 company, marketing intern with another international company, and a store manager at a locally owned store). Also, pretty good EC's (student senate, public affairs organization, varsity athlete, team actually set NCAA record for single season turnaround, multiple honor societies and other community service/leadership activities).
I know WM and GM are reaches, but is Richmond realistic and what are some other app. ideas. Retaking is probably out of the Q as we're moving and I want to finish law school around the time her service is done and waiting another cycle won't allow that. Advice, ideas, expectations?? Thanks.

Re: 3.5 GPA / 158 LSAT
My apologies, let me clarify. I already applied to those three about 5 weeks ago. I also have a few safety schools in mind. Adding to my mini resume, I'm a double major in political science and business.
WM, though a far reach, is ideal in that it's less than an hour from my wife's naval base so I would be able to commute. Assuming I don't get in there, but do get into maybe Richmond, and I place in top 15-20% of my class, is transferring to WM a possibility?

Calm down. 3 posts in an hour is overkill.
I think the only one you have a shot at is Richmond. Your LSAT needs to come up 3-5 points to realistically consider GM or W&M.
Going somewhere and planning to transfer never seems like a good idea.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Would like to point out though that the "please..." post was the day after my initial two posts, not within an hour. Thanks for the input though, I had assumed transferring was in no way a safe bet but thought I would ask those more knowledgeable/experienced than myself.

It's theoretically possible, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Also, simply for curiosity's sake, would my numbers give me a shot at Ohio State with my Ohio residency weighed in? LSP gives a weak consider but doesn't take state residency into the picture. Would that bump one up to "consider" territory?
