3.3/169

Post by Griffin » Mon Feb 01, 2010 11:40 am

I have a 3.3/169 and a B.S. in engineering. Please also factor in that my application will be approaching the deadline of most of the schools I'm applying to as a result of late letters of recommendation. Where do I have a chance?

Also, would it be worth it to delay my application so I could apply ED to schools like UVA the next cycle?

Thanks in advance for the help/advice.

if it had been earlier in the cycle i would say you have a strong shot at WUSTL and all other schools following in the rankings. being as that it is later in the cycle though, i would say UIUC and following. i could be wrong though

Sorry I was under the impression that this thread was "Where should I apply and what are my chances at those schools?" so I didn't explicitly state the question.

We have similar numbers (and we both have technical backgrounds). If you had applied earlier, you would've likely gotten into virtually all schools ranked in the 20s. Being later in the cycle, it might be a bit more unpredictable, but I would certainly apply as high as WUSTL.
