Re: Just for fun, predict my cycle (application, not menstrual)
The bottom two I'm sure of. $'s a little harder to predict for the others on your list. LSAT's a little low for the big 3 up there, you'd have a prayer at Stanford since they like GPA better but I wouldn't bet on it this late in the game.Sauer Grapes wrote:I reserve the right to send whomever gets closest (including money guesses) a small prize if they so wish. No promises.
I have a 170 and between a 3.7 and 3.8. 4-9 years of WE. I applied late, as in less than three weeks ago.
I've applied to a few VERY long shots and then some targets and safeties. Did not write specific essays for any of them, other than having a shortened personal statement for those that requested 1 page or put a word limit.
This is mostly for fun while I am waiting to hear back and for pride for whomever most closely predicts where I'll get in, and WL, or dinged. Bonus pride points for predicting any $$$. I left three schools off due to already having acceptances. I am not in-state at any on this list.
Harvard - Out
Stanford - Out
Columbia - Out
Michigan - W/L
Northwestern - In
Cornell - In
Georgetown - In
Texas - Out
UCLA - In
USC - In
WUSTL - In $$$
UMN - In $$$
I applied to a few more, but I'm fairly confident that I am in or YP at them based on their medians and being over the 75% on one or both #'s.

They'll like your numbers, but only 25% of their class can be out of state; it's the lateness of the cycle that makes that a problem. Best of luckSauer Grapes wrote:Thanks barrinmb. That is a little closer to what I've been expecting. I still hope Tex is right though.
