early decision/action transfer chances?
Around top 20% (could be a little bit in either direction) at UCLA/Vanderbilt/Texas. Can anyone render a guess on my chances at early action transfer to Georgetown, either into full-time or part-time? Is it worth throwing an app to Chicago or should I not even waste my time?
Thanks so much for your help

I would think you're pretty much a lock at Georgetown, and it would definitely be worthwhile throwing an app at Chicago - your chances aren't as high as GULC, but pretty good nonetheless.
I think the better question is why would you want to transfer to GULC?

Wants to work in the DC area? Seriously, there are good reasons to go to GULC.bees wrote:Seriously.imchuckbass58 wrote:I think the better question is why would you want to transfer to GULC?

thanks so much for the response, I hope so. Yeah, the main reason is that I want to work in DC and do something government-related after school. I also don't like the market I'm in now and its difficult to get out to the east coast.

sorry to piggy-back on this but what do you think of my chances at Georgetown EA, top 20-25% at USC?

bump.
I know it hasn't been that long but I don't think many east-coasters were up at 5am when I posted

I think you chances would be very good assuming you can get decent recs. Like the OP, however, I think it doesn't really make much sense unless you want to be in DC/on the east coast or if you want to do federal government work.midwestswing wrote:sorry to piggy-back on this but what do you think of my chances at Georgetown EA, top 20-25% at USC?
