How screwed am I???

Post by ENGINEERD » Mon Jan 11, 2010 10:12 pm

I am just now starting to apply to schools in the T20-T30 range. My application should be complete right before many of the deadlines, feb 1. Is this going to ruin my chances?? I know I should have applied earlier but I thought I was going to wait till next cycle. I can't wait any longer I want to be in law school by next year.

It'll hurt you at you reaches, probably won't hurt at your targets or safeties.

Though if the number of new applicants is as high as people are thinking you may have problems.

+1.
You should probably expect a few rejections from schools that would have accepted you in October. But you never know...

I applied later than this last year and got into a few of my reaches (off the waitlist). I don't think applying that late had any negative impact on my application cycle.
