You will probably get a scholarship at FIU.... I know people with lower numbers than yours who have a scholarship ( a very small one) at fiu. Your LSAT should give you a 10k scholarship, but because of your GPA you might only get 5k.

You will be accepted to FSU. Rejected at Florida, in at FIU.
FSU takes the highest score and does not reject lower than 160. I have a friend at FSU right now who scored a 155, then 160 and had a 3.0 last year. 80% at FSU.

False assumption. These schools are ranked so similarly, 51 and 52 that one could assume this, however, Florida is a lot tougher on criteria than FSU. If you have 3.0 and a 160, you are in at FSU.beesknees wrote:I'd assume if you're accepted to FSU, you'd be accepted in UF as they are extremely similar schools in terms of class profile. Same with a reject. With your GPA, it is a stretch because it is well under their 25%iles, and you don't offer them and LSAT above their 75%ile (I imagine many of their low GPA accepts have good LSATs because they can use splitters to bolster a particular statistic).
And FIU = FIwho? No seriously, you should get in. Your LSAT is well over their median (154) and GPA isn't too far under their GPA median (3.34).

Re: Chances at UF, FSU, FIU
if I had to guess.....
WL but eventually in at FSU
out at UF
In at FIU and probably with some scholarship money.
for what its worth I have a friend at FIU and he really likes it. I did my first 3 semesters of undergrad at FIU. The campus is beautiful and the law school has a ton of money being poured into it. It is very much "up and coming" and one day a JD from FIU might not be such a bad thing. I know a couple graduates as well who have secured very prestigious jobs.

There is an influential judge in my district that is an FIU grad, FWIW.
Still, if you get in to FSU, it is the better bet.

JJWAL - just wondering if you have any decisions from these 3 schools yet? I am also waiting on them all with a 3.8 / 154. getting nervous.
