Re: 3.69/176
yea I dont think anyone needs to tell you that these are top notch stats, why not blanket the top ten....duke, penn, michigan, chicago, nyu (obviously not in that order) but youll get all of those. Schools like GW will probably give you a substantial scholarship.

you, sir (or ma'am?), are my doppelganger. we've got nearly identical stats (my lsdas gpa is negligibly higher) and both fancy ourselves "do-gooders." i say, go for the whole t-14. someone is going to give you what you want. but, please, don't apply to duke or uva (the two i'm considering)!!! i did not go for the tip-top as i think top 10 is plenty good enough for my aspirations. but i'd say you have a decent shot at the biggest of big name schools.

Agree with others. Skip Northwestern as it's too late to sign up for an interview, but otherwise blanket the T14. Bear in mind that UPenn requires an extra essay, and Yale also has a short essay, so be prepared to write a little more if you apply to them.

Well, to tell you the truth, I wasn't going to apply to either Duke or UVa, but then they emailed me these very enticing fee waiver letters ...ze2151 wrote:you, sir (or ma'am?), are my doppelganger. we've got nearly identical stats (my lsdas gpa is negligibly higher) and both fancy ourselves "do-gooders." i say, go for the whole t-14. someone is going to give you what you want. but, please, don't apply to duke or uva (the two i'm considering)!!! i did not go for the tip-top as i think top 10 is plenty good enough for my aspirations. but i'd say you have a decent shot at the biggest of big name schools.

-7 for 176?! holy crap! lol i missed fewer questions and scored lower
grats on your score...but i wouldnt say sending your apps out 10 days from now "is not superdooper late"...it kinda is imo
your chances at some of the top schools would be a lot better if you submitted first thing next cycle...but if you dont have that yr to blow off (thought you might since you've been out of UG awhile anyways)...i say you have pretty good shot at all the schools sans HYS...GPA a bit low for them, esp. this late into the cycle
best of luck

You're aiming too high and too low, and missing all the schools you should be applying to. With your GPA/LSAT combo, I'm not going to say for sure you're out at HYS, but it's a longshot. Below that... You should be applying at a lot more schools.yeff wrote:UW

Apply to those. Do NOT go to GW or UW, it'd be a total waste. Write "Why X?" essays for Penn and UVA so they don't YP you. Good luck.
