The negativity is due to the fact that entry level jobs in law are disappearing. What is the point of going to the U of Michigan (a great law school) if what awaits you is years of doc review in some place called Kalamazoo until it is outsourced to India?
GIve me some statistics of percentage of these jobs being "sent to India."

By the way. Should this thread be amended? If the numbers game is contingent on a consistent quantity of high scoring applicants, then with the applicant pool lowered, it would seem that the numbers game changes.
LSN for 2010-2011 might not be accurate anymore.
