3.0 is a significant dividing point. Mich, Penn, Uva, and Gtown all have it as an unspoken gpa cut off.
This isnt necessarily the case. My friend had a 171 and a 2.8-9 and was accepted to GULC.

I'm sure he meant if you're white. Is your friend non-URM?tadams86 wrote:

To all sub 3.0's - LSN is your friend. Will give you the best possible picture of GPA cut-offs and how schools look at sub-3.0's. Also, check majors and WE. Sub 3.0 engineers tend to have better cycles than other sub 3.0's and the more years WE, the better.

Did you get denied to any of the schools i plan on applying to? what other schools have you been accepted too?carboy79 wrote:I had a 2.8/168 applied straight outta undergrad, and of the schools that i applied to on your list i got into American and Miami, havent heard from UF. Probably attending WUSTL which is pretty good for numbers like ours, consider applying there.

WUSTL and UMN should definitely be on that list.

American, miami, and uf are the only schools we both applied to. I got accepted at wustl, waitlisted at fordham and cardoza, and denied at boston and georgetown. Still waiting from emory and UF, but thats all i applied to.
