Re: Safety Schools
This might actually be a blessing in disguise because if I improved my score I was going to reach for a T14 at sticker. Now, if Michigan doesn't accept me, I'll definitely take the best scholarship I can get at a T1. (Applied to Seton Hall just in case I get terrible offers)

Re: Safety Schools
Here's a draft of my apology letter to ND
Dear Notre Dame Law Admissions,
I'm terribly sorry for the e-mail I sent you a few weeks ago. I'm crying right now because I have always wanted to go to ND Law and I don't want to be on bad terms with you. I'm just a kid who had a few drinks and foolishly took to the internet in a bold effort to get back at an entity who he thought had undermined him as an applicant. Please accept my apology. We all make mistakes and, if you can forgive me, we might have a lot to offer each other.

You shouldn't send that. What was it that you did? It's more likely your being an asshole will be forgiven than your being unpredictable when drunk will be forgiven.

Re: Safety Schools
I called them out for WL'ing me two years in a row when their median had dipped to a 163 and then I said they almost tricked me into attending when I got in off the WL a few years ago, but that I was hip to their tricks and saw that they were trying to prey off a desperate kid who didn't get accepted off any T14 WL's. Then I said that they were probably laughing when they read my C&F explanation this past cycle, but I would have the last laugh when I become the dean of ND Law and install a bronze wolverine statue right outside the admissions office.
It was really immature, but I am sorry.

I don't believe you were stupid enough to actually say that in any communication with any law school.
What were you actual stats btw, you act entirely too 'upper class' to have really gotten a 161 as your highest.

OP's proposed email sounds like a personal ad. It's a school, not a potential date.
But I don't get what sounds "high class" about any of this and what being "high class" has to do with LSAT score.

Nony, do you believe Rascal is genuine? I can't imagine he isn't just playing to the crowd at this point.A. Nony Mouse wrote:OP's proposed email sounds like a personal ad. It's a school, not a potential date.

I think he actually took the LSAT and thinks he wants to go to law school. Beyond that...

Act like his shit doesn't stink, act like he killed the LSAT and is just looking down on the rest of us peasant-mortals. Act like he is having fun in this maybe troll thread. All, some, or none of these things can be true. Those types of actions.
Love you Rascal, I don't remember you ever really being 'mean' to me, honest.

The good news is that Notre Dame viewed that email as an indication of your fieriness and determination.
The bad news is that they blacklisted you and contacted all T14 schools to tell them not to admit you.

please never stop posting.
Also, out basically everywhere you apply, because your PS will be that ONE PS that is so bad that adcoms will reject you.

Haha, come on guy, why are you getting on me about my LSAT scores? As long as I can sit down with 5-10 minutes to think on an LR question before I get it right, then I'm chillin' like a villain. Lawyers don't have to make decisions every minute and 15 secs on average ya know!

Re: Safety Schools
Are they seriously gonna send it to other schools? How do they even know where I applied? My logic was that ND isn't even in close proximity to the schools I'd be applying to so I didn't think they'd spend all the effort.RCSOB657 wrote:I don't believe you were stupid enough to actually say that in any communication with any law school.

I know I'd be a lot more at ease if I had Rascal representing me.

Am I competitive for the GW ED prize? I'm thinking about changing my ED app. I'm not feeling it and I'm not feeling debt if they're feeling me.

I thought about it and I really don't have a good reason. Might as well give it a shot if I put this much effort into the idea. I just hope someone PAYS for me to get this trial run at a good (T1) school!!

Rascal, if you're this bored you should go to Lebannon/Turkey/Iraq/Syria and help the Peshmerga fight ISIS. They're taking volunteers at Tal Abyad. Probably make for one hell of a diversity statement, since you'd have to fund your own plane ticket, gear, and seed money before you joined up. I'd go if I could afford it.

Do schools look down on mercs/unpaid volunteers fighting against terrorists? Would they allow a deferral for a year for this?
