You should really polish the shit out of your "why X" essays though, because every school outside of the t6 will be wary about you just wanting to go somewhere higher ranked, even with a full ride.
You're getting soft hand. Can't say I'm not disappointed.

Half a semester into LS and this is what has become of me. I'm disappointed as well.

I just watched 3 episodes of the good wife back to back, how's that for getting it together?

I took a two hour nap and ate baking syrup out of the jar.
Almost as useful as my evening.

At least one lower T-14 will give you a full-ride, so I wouldn't even bother applying outside of those schools. I go to UVA and most kids with full rides had similar stats but with slightly lower LSAT.

In my experience, when it comes to scholarship negotiation the T14 schools don't really care what your offers look like outside the T14. Only apply to T20 schools if you could actually see yourself attending. At this point in the cycle you should just blanket the T14 as soon as possible.

Also, when debating between potential full-ride options, beware that the lower T14 are more regional than people generally suspect. If you want to get a particular city without ties (and with all else equal) you should aim for the local T14. This even applies to NYC, to an extent.

Op, absolutely do not ed to northwestern, or ed anywhere. You will get full rides from ccn on down; don't bother applying to Wustl, but apply to the rest of the T14 and pick whichever school you want.

How important is applying soon? My best letter writer just informed me that they might not have my letter until mid-December, so idk if I should try to get a lesser letter asap, or wait for that good one.
