let this be a note to all the 3.7/170 applicants to T14: you're competing against people like this. You need to have something to separate yourself to feel confident.

3.7/170 is fine for the T14, generally speaking. There is not really much you can do to separate yourself from other applicants besides improve your numbers. OP ought to be commended though! GL!

I didn't say OP was going to do fine. It is clear that she is going to kill this cycle. I simply said that a 170 & 3.7 is fine is response to the comment that stated that such applicants need to realize that they are in competition with individuals such as OP. The comment was meant to show that people cannot do a whole lot outside the realm of #'s to distinguish themselves in a meaningful way.

As long as you disclose it on your applications, no school not named BYU or Liberty is going to care, and you shouldn't be going to schools with those names, anyway.
