Concentrate on a good application to overcome any trepedation about your GPA. I really recommend the Book MBA Admissions Strategy:

Even though its geared towards MBA, most of it is about building your profile. It helps you dig deep to come up with material and the whittle until you're down to 2 to 4 themes. I feel that it helped me overperform my numbers.
