Yes I meant solo practice, thank you. I run my own accounting business, with tax being my specialty. I was thinking of getting the cheapest law degree with a LL.M in Taxation. I have a professional relationship with a corporate attorney and a bankruptcy attorney, and both have told me they have been looking for a good tax attorney to work with.

I really doubt PU/LLS would take a 3.2 / 156 non-urm full time.JDProspect wrote:It's worth trying, but bear in mind that chances are slim to none. You never know. Don't forget that there are other schools in LA ie. Southwestern, Loyola, Pepperdine, etc. that would definitely take you and offer scholarship money. Your interest is in Family Law and those schools have strong regional ties, so you should be able to get where you want to go even if you don't go to a top school.

LSP puts chances at admission at 5-8%.
Not doing this to make the OP feel bad, but to tell her that she needs to try and study better and retake.
It's a real touching story, but I just don't think it's in the cards... MAYBE a shot at part-time with a banging PS/DS.

Are you people really recommending OP try and go to Pepperdine or Loyola at sticker? Have you learned nothing in your time here?

I think going to PU or Loyola sticker is damn risky. However, the chance of OP even getting in for sticker without a higher LSAT are slim, so that's moot. Not sure what pot the other people ITT are smoking.romothesavior wrote:Are you people really recommending OP try and go to Pepperdine or Loyola at sticker? Have you learned nothing in your time here?
