It's my understanding that schools typically take the highest score, regardless of when it was taken.

what, are you gonna call him out for his 162? I am just telling the truth, you make everything appear harder than they are, if OP applies to a range of these schools, chances are good that he will at least be admitted into few of them with his stats and solid apps

No, you said that OP has "a good chance at all the reach schools." That is patently false and misleading.

OP does have a good chance at some of his "reach schools", what's there to argue? a good chance doesn't mean he will be one of the auto-admits, but at least he will be competitive

No a 162 is a solid LSAT. But his GPA will hurt his chances a lot, yet you call it a good GPA, just like you tell people with a 2.7 that their GPA is good. OP, check some applicants with similar number on LSP to see how their cycles went. While it's not scientific, it should give you a good indicator of what to expect in general.
