Newark is an ugly city, but Rutgers is a nationally known university with cheap tuition. You'll also have access to the NYC legal market.

It is an accomplishment to get accepted to a strong school. I'd rather pay 20k a year than 40k at NYU. Just make sure you graduate top of your class.

Yes...It's well known in football, girls basketball, and as a good, solid state university.

I don't know if this is true but I heard there is a strain of herpes unique to rutgers

I'm definitely lucky to get into this school. I haven't sent in my seat deposit yet, but I'm about 95% sure this is where I'm going to go.
