Ahh, yes. It is hard for me to keep track of all the errors the OP has littered throughout this thread. I would add one small caveat, just to be an ass, but it is at least 25% of the matriculants have LSATs at or below the 25th. Hypothetically, assuming the median is different, all the matriculants up to the median point could have the 25% LSAT. Sorry, I will not be a dick anymore, as I agree with you.

Haha you are quite right. the 49th percentile could very well be 167, in theory. That's a basic error, but I think my brain might have overheated while trying to understand this:

I know for a fact that the law school belonging to my alma mater accepted students last year with lsat as low as 160 last cycle. I know because I emailed and asked for the RANGE of scores of admitted students. The dean of admissions emailed me back and I am assuming is a reliable source!

I actually talked to UVA's admissions office, they had someone get in with a 150 last year.

That's OK guys. Thanks for your input. I will probably be just as happy going to Rutger's where I could actually get a scholly and be a lot less in debt.
That way, i won't sweat it if I can't get a job coming out of a T14.

i know i'm late to the convo, but what was op's LSAT range (know he doesnt want to give exact score).

the 150 was probably a 1 in a million applicant. it's much harder to be a 1 in a million than have a 1 in a 100 lsat score, not that either is easy, but i'd take the 1% any day.

yes if the 167 is the 25th percentile, that means some people under a 167 are getting in but they don't go that far out. the range at UVA is 167-171, meaning half the class is within 4 points. i'd venture to say the 10th was probably around 165 based off of speeches i heard on the topic. they don't like going deeply down on the lsat chart, because an lsat is a strong predictor of a student's performance based off of correlative stats. they don't like pitting a 160 against a class of 170s. it just isn't very nice. part of URM, particularly african americans, is they found the test to be less representative of their actual performance in law school which is part of why they go down further with scores. i'm guessing the 150 was URM, legacy and did something really amazing for our society.

OP, t-20 isn't going to happen with ur LSAT. u should have ED'd to BC or GW.

if u can crank out a 170 on december's test, t-14 WILL happen with ur awesome GPA.
