2. I agree, it is extremely difficult to actually get 175 even you are PTing in that range. Even though, of course, it is more likely you will score in your PT range than out of it.
I can see it making a difference if you had a difficult major, were homeless half your life, and escaping from religious persecution the other half in a country that no one has ever heard of, then yeah, that will help.
