I wouldn't do it for the pay, only for the passion for the job. Money just like everything else is easy to obtain depending on how eager you are to get it. Thank you for your help!

Well you can't pay student loans with fulfillment, that's why you need a full scholarship. Also how do you know you are going to passionate for small firm work?Acumen wrote:I wouldn't do it for the pay, only for the passion for the job. Aren't those the branches of government, not the levels?Acumen wrote:Ok, smart a**es let's go back to what middle school... There is the local, state and federal level. Hmmmm, now what school do you brilliant people attend? Please do tell.
Sorry, it bothered me. I really don't mean to pick or anything; best of luck finding the right law school, law school selection in the south really is depressing sometimes.

Mercer and GA State aren't worth it unless you're getting basically full tuition. A retake is in order to overcome your GPA.

As big of an ass as he is being, this is exactly correct.Desert Fox wrote:I do it for the Lulz. If you really want a small firm, retake, and go somewhere that gives you a full ride. Sorry to DP, but Judicial, Legislative and Executive are branches. Municipal, County (or Parish), State, and Federal are levels. But I also agree that "all levels of government" does sound like you have worked with the president at some point.Montevillian wrote:Aren't those the branches of government, not the levels?Acumen wrote:Ok, smart a**es let's go back to what middle school... GA State sounds like the best fit. Aim for PT and work to off-set the $$.Acumen wrote:My pursuit is to go into a smaller firm in Atlanta. Didn't mean to get into a war of words, but I'm just in clear opposition to people belittling others for any reason at all.

Thank you all for the assistance. I think my final decision may be to retake the LSAT for a better score. A few people have advised me to take a year off then go in so I might take that advice as well.
