Admit: 1 Waitlist (Didn't LOCI, so basically a deny), 7 Admit

Re: How accurate was LSP for you
Semi-accurate?
ADMIT: Got into all of 'em (except Cornell, but I'll be waiting til July for that decision, probably)
STRONG CONSIDER: This was the most surprising category, I guess, but I might have been too sure of myself. I got into some of my strong considers (UCLA, Vandy, UT) but I was rejected or waitlisted from five of my strong considers (Georgetown, Penn, Berkeley, Duke, and Michigan) I was riding on the fact that I had 70% at Duke/Michigan/Georgetown, so the waitlist/rejection from those places felt pretty bad, lol.
CONSIDER: One (surprising) admit from UVa; haven't heard back from Columbia, NYU, or Chicago.
(Didn't apply to weak considers or denies)

1/1 on admits
2/2 on strong considers
0/2 on considers (though they were harvard and stanford and my GPA is low for them, so there you go)

Re: How accurate was LSP for you
LSP hasn't been totally on the money for me, but it hasn't been off by too far either:
Didn't apply to my "Deny" school (Y); didn't have any "weak consider" schools.
Consider: Still waiting on 1/1, fully expecting a rejection
Strong consider: Admitted at 3, WL at 1
Admit: Admitted at 4, WL at 2

Re: How accurate was LSP for you
Weak Consider: did not apply
Consider: still waiting to hear from all three
Strong consider: In at 1, rejected at 1, other two pending
Admit: Rejected at 1, waitlisted at the other 3
Lesson: send in your applications early, kids.

Re: How accurate was LSP for you
I only applied to "weak considers" (I know, totally risky..)
Have gotten into two so far and waitlisted at one.. rejected at one. Waiting to hear back from two more..
edit:I lied, I only applied to one weak consider. The rest were denys and the first two schools I got into were denys.

Re: How accurate was LSP for you
I only had one Strong Consider, and it rejected me.
Two of my Admits put me on hold and have been ignoring me, despite the fact that it is over six months since I applied... and one in spite of a LOCI sent immediately after the hold, over five weeks ago. All the other Admits did admit me, though (except for two where I withdrew before getting a decision).
So, not terribly accurate, I guess?

Re: How accurate was LSP for you
Deny : got into all 4 of them with $
Weak Consider: was admitted to 1/1
Consider: was admitted to 3/5. waitlisted at 1; rejected at 1
Strong Consider: admitted 2/2
Admit: admitted 2/2
1 school is still pending.
I'd say that it wasn't totally accurate for me because I'm non-trad and a URM.

Re: How accurate was LSP for you
Consider: reject from SLS, haven't heard back yet from HLS
Strong consider: In at NYU and CLS, w/l at Chicago
Admit: w/l at GULC and Penn
I think these lsp inaccuracies might reflect the fact that I applied in January, since people from my college with similar numbers got in at the admits earlier in the cycle.

Re: How accurate was LSP for you
ADMIT: 11 Admits, 1 Pending
STRONG CONSIDER: 3 Admits, 2 Waitlists, 1 Held
CONSIDER: 5 Waitlists, 1 Deny, 1 Pending
WEAK CONSIDER / DENY: Did not apply to any
Ultimately, I think I had a harsher cycle than LSP predicted, but then again I'm also in that weird gray area where all of my considers are T14s.

Re: How accurate was LSP for you
Mixed Results
Deny- 2 Rejections, 1 Waitlist, 2 Acceptances
Consider- 2 Acceptances
Admit- 1 Acceptance
Still several pending. I went a little nuts when I didn't hear back from anyone right away and sent out a bunch more to "safety" schools. I'll most likely withdraw before I get any answers. According to LSP the remaining were mostly "considers" (except one).

Re: How accurate was LSP for you
I didn't find out about LSP until after I applied...probably for the best:
Admit: didn't apply to any of LSP's "admits"
Strong consider: 2 Accept
Consider: 1 WL, 1 Accept
Weak Consider: 1 WL
Deny: 1 Reject, 3 Accept, 2 Outstanding

Re: How accurate was LSP for you
There was another thread about this recently, but I'll repost here.
I consider myself a fairly "average" applicant (average softs, non-splitter):
Deny - 1 hold (24%)
Weak Consider - 1 acceptance (36%), 1 pending (37%)
Consider - 1 acceptance (48%), 1 hold (62%), 2 WLs (58%, 61%), 1 rejection (57%), 1 pending (45%)
Strong Consider - 4 acceptances (66%, 66%, 69%, 71%), 1 pending (71%)
Admit - 1 acceptance (>95%)
(The pendings are likely rejections, since I submitted in October. Actually, the holds probably are too...)
So... I dunno. That seems to be all over the place, or at least, a little less than everything in place?

Re: How accurate was LSP for you
Consider - 1 rejection
Strong Consider - 1 Admit, 1 Faculty Review to Reject, 1 haven't heard back yet (can't be looking good)
Admit - 6 admits, 2 waitlists, 5 haven't heard back yet
Overall, I think I'm a little disappointed with my cycle given LSP. I applied in early January with a 177 (retake) / 3.6. Surprised to have not heard back from Emory, USC, UCLA, NYU and Chicago. Surprised to have been waitlisted by Penn, UVa and Berkeley and surprised not to have gotten an interview at Harvard.
I got into Columbia so I'm not super upset, but I think my application must have been sub-par in some way.
