I scored higher than I expected on the Oct test, so previously I'd only prepared for applying to MVP. I've only now started considering applying to HYS, and thus don't know much about their admissions process. I was worried that these top schools would place a much greater emphasis on soft factors, thus negatively affecting my chances at admission.

I didn't intend for my post to be "ego-stroking," but if it came off like that I apologize.
