Yes, leave the supermarket.DaRascal wrote:Hey, guys, check this out. I just got hired as a pharmacy technician trainee at CVS. Should I leave the supermarket job for this? Will NU be impressed?
I don't know if NU will be impressed, but it's at least legit work experience, provided you do it for a couple years.

You're trolling a bit too hard right now. Scale it back a notch or two.

I think Rascal might have lost his magical ability to walk that fine line between just plausible enough and "no way anyone is this retarded."

Just out of curiosity, what are the provisions for permanently banning someone?

I need to hear this immature class presentation.DaRascal wrote:Hmmm yeah, Slack, sorry. Didn't mean to flame. All of that stuff is actually true. My life is that crazy haha.
Anyway, Seton Hall gave me $35/yr as opposed to $45k/yr last year so it looks like the GPA drop and/or timing of my app hurt. And, of course, the 0.01 GPA drop keeps me away from the reduced in-state tuition. That was literally the difference between a B and B- in one class during my last semester of college. I didn't want to appeal the grade but I did something really immature in class that I think caused him to skew the grade downward when I was on track for a strong B all semester long. I really regret that. Let's just say it was a very immature class presentation that accounted for 10% of the class grade. (I was confident I'd be going to law school last year so I did a lot of foolish things my last semester)
Looks like at this point I need to get into and attend Notre Dame or do something I don't think I'm capable of doing on an LSAT retake. I don't find it likely that I'll get off of Cornell's reserve list and I really do want to move to the Midwest anyway. I need a change of scenery.

It was a PowerPoint presentation for this Victorian Medievalism class and I came in after having drained four Guinesses that morning in the spirit of who I was making the presentation about (an Irish writer). Anyway, I slurred a lot during the presentation even though I thought the delivery was sound, but the professor was a really stern type of guy and he didn't find the funny Irish techno song I used as my background music entertaining.

I just need to get into NDLS again at this point haha.
