There's one in January? You'd think they would schedule it after they've let more people in.

According to the information I have received, there's one in January and one in March. Maybe they want it to be more personal? Who knows. All I know is DC is going to be COLD!!!! (I'm from Florida)

Re: Georgetown ASW
It's not the official ASW. I think they call it an "early admitted students" visit/open house or something to that effect.hoopsguy6 wrote:There's one in January? You'd think they would schedule it after they've let more people in.

I was planning on going, but I haven't heard any additional info since I was admitted. Where did you get the schedule?

I plan on going, but I haven't received any information besides the invitation. Is there anything exciting on the schedule?

Re: Georgetown ASW
On the FAQ it says they don't reimburse for travel expenses.
Has anyone been able to successfully open the pdf for the schedule? For some reason, I can't seem to open it. If someone has been able to and can post it i would be really grateful. I can't miss class on Thursday so I am trying to guage when I should buy my flight for.

I think I'm going to book my airfare and hotel soon. Which hotels are people staying in?

I couldn't view it either. I sent them an email asking about and got an auto-reply saying I'd have to wait until January 4.

I think I'll try staying with a student. That's only for one night though, so I guess I need to start looking at hotels... It's a shame that GULC doesn't reimburse for travel expenses.js87 wrote:I think I'm going to book my airfare and hotel soon. Which hotels are people staying in?

Just RSVP'd, going to book my hotel soon. If anyone has booked a hotel yet, which one did you choose?

Just RSVP'd too! (staying with a friend though)
How many people do you think will attend? Are many of you bringing someone with you - I'm sure not.

I'm going on the 28th. Anybody else check "stay on campus" as their preference when they RSVP'd?

I did. And to add some useful information to this post, I emailed on Friday asking when we would find out if there was enough space to be hosted by a student and the woman told me that they would send out assignments on January 22nd and that there were plenty of hosts so I should be fine.Eazy E wrote:I'm going on the 28th. RSVPd as well - I figured it would make my Mom's month to come to at least some of the events and since we're local its really easy.mellifluouslyso wrote:Just RSVP'd too! (staying with a friend though)
