Re: Fordham ASD (March 28)
I'm attending. And this will be my first ASD I attend. Do 0Ls typically go out for drinks after these events, or do they just go their separate ways?
Im deciding whether to make plans with some NYC friends on Saturday evening or attempt to find some potential future classmates to go drinking with.

Re: Fordham ASD (March 28)
A bunch of TLSers including myself got together after the Mason ASD last weekend (we planned it ahead of time). I don't know if I"ll be able to do it this weekend, because my gf is coming with me to NY and we are meeting up with some friends on Saturday night.MannekenPis wrote:I'm attending. I hope to see everyone at the event though.

Re: Fordham ASD (March 28)
it looks like i'll be going on saturday...
two quick things:
-the schedule on the website says that it starts at 9:30a.m. the latest e-mail that i got on wednesday said the program will start with a 10:30a.m. 'welcome'...are you all just assuming that 9:30-10:30a.m. will be a drawn out registration and things will not kick off til 10:30a.m.
-i do not foresee myself sticking around for the whole thing/to meet up after, but if anyone else who currently lives in nyc wants to meet up any other time for happy hour/etc, let me know
thanks

I'll be there. I live in Brooklyn so it's not a trek for me, although I'll be flying back from WUSTL's open house Fri night. After the Fordham open house, I'm going to a party for my part-time job at 5, a yelp elite event at 7 and then to see my friend's band play at 9:30...there's always a ton of stuff happening in nyc!

Re: Fordham ASD (March 28)
Hey. I am in the process of deciding between Fordham and Cardozo with $$, which I think there are several people on here making the same decision. I had a chance to go to the Cardozo admitted students day last weekend but I unfortantely can not make it to Fordham's this week. I would REALLY appreciate it if anyone that is making a similar decision and has the chance to attend both could hit me up after this weekend to let me know their thoughts on the differences between the two programs and the feels of the schools.
Thanks!
Thanks!

No...geoanthem wrote:should I go?
YES!!!!!
Why wouldn't you go? You seem more excited about Fordham than anyone, and you live in the city. Some people are flying in from far places like Texas to go to the event. I'll be driving 5 hours.

Re: Fordham ASD (March 28)
YES, you should go! How is this even a question?
Seriously, you'll get to meet with professors, and get a feel for journals, clinics, and other nifty activities you'll get to do as a student. I plan to go to ASD at every school that will have me; there's no such thing as too much information when you are making a $150,000 investment in your future!
Plus it sounds like it'll be a pretty awesome TLS meetup...
