+2 cool kid weekend!!!! Did you guys do the school sponsored accommodations? Haven't had a roommate since sophomore year of college (unless you count my bf but I don't lol) and I'm feeling some type of way over having to share a bathroom lolololvirginia_direwoolf wrote:Ayyy +1 on cool kid weekendferalflamingo wrote:This thread is so overdue!!! I'm sure it will, from what I've heard and experienced they've always been super generous with scholly money.LSATuration wrote:Currently planning on attending ASW 1 if scholarship comes in anywhere close to LSN average

I ditched my SO so I could get a roommate (she pushed for it, I think she knows I need more friends )38981928 wrote:+2 cool kid weekend!!!! Did you guys do the school sponsored accommodations? Aww haha I'm friendly but I tend toward introversion naturally, so I don't think a roommate will be bad for me! And my boyfriend didn't really want to just tag along to all my ASWs and basically be twiddling his thumbs most of the time since we're 99% gonna do long distance anyway so where I go won't affect him too much.feralflamingo wrote:I ditched my SO so I could get a roommate (she pushed for it, I think she knows I need more friends )38981928 wrote:+2 cool kid weekend!!!! Haha yes, that is the prevailing (and true) logic. And this way we can focus on important things like "is Stephanie really mikeross91 from TLS?"38981928 wrote:Aww haha I'm friendly but I tend toward introversion naturally, so I don't think a roommate will be bad for me! It's for the Student Funded Fellowships for Public Interest internships. Huge auction with all sorts of silly and fun prizes, it is supposed to be a real hoot!ribbon wrote:First weekend!! Guys, what's the auction??

Re: Michigan ASW
That's my reason for it, and I imagine more than a few others. They haven't put up the registration info for it yet, but honestly I'm not sure if you need to register. I was trying to look at it last night and there is on-site registration and no accommodations like Michigan. Or it could just be too early still.38981928 wrote:

@Direwoolf I don't think they have shared it yet for this year, but one of my coworkers went to one in like 2011 and it is almost the same as this one from 2017 so I'm guessing they don't change it up too much. Looks like there will be a link to RSVP eventually though!
