I understand that GULC's ASW (open house) is this coming week, on the 23rd and 24th.
I'm trying my best to take those days off from work, but my boss isn't budging. Is there a downside to not attending the ASW and going to one of the upcoming receptions instead? There's one in my city, so I am planning on attending that either way.

Re: GULC's ASW
The only "downside" (not really a downside, TBH) is not getting to visit the campus during a time where admissions is trying really hard to sell you on it, and maybe meeting people. The receptions are helpful for meeting alumni and GULC-interested students in your area, but you wont' get to meet faculty and current students, or see the campus. If you've never been to GULC (or DC) before it might be worth your while to visit, if you're seriously considering it, even if its just over the weekend
