Maybe there is already a thread for this... and if so i apoligize. But im wondering how to ask for a travel stipend so that I can attend an Admitted students weekend at U of Miami. I live in Montana, and the plane ticket to Miami is about $800 dollars at the cheapest. I would definitely like to attend, but for $800 dollars I definitely would not.
Has anyone ever asked for money from a school so they could visit said school? If so, is it via email? Phone? who should I speak with? etc...

(EDIT: I am realizing now that travel reimbursements are a normal thing, however I still have no idea how to acquire one)
