Lewis and Clark Visit Day
Who's all going? What hotel are you guys choosing to stay at (Hotel Fifty, Hotel Modera, Paramount Hotel)?

I'm going to book my ticket this weekend, but I'm not sure about which hotel yet.

Wow. Yeah, mine's around $430. I'm trying to not even think about hotel costs. Where are you flying from?charliep wrote:around $600rahrah wrote:How much is your ticket going to cost you?charliep wrote:i think i'll go, but the plane ticket, even with the stipend, is soooo expensive

Definitely going. Flight booked from Norcal ($250 r/t on Southwest) and two nights at Hotel Modera ($109/night with voucher). Really excited to see the city and campus.llachans wrote:Who's all going? What hotel are you guys choosing to stay at (Hotel Fifty, Hotel Modera, Paramount Hotel)?

Booked the flight....there goes the entire stipend. But I'll probably stay at Modera. My only issue is I have an event that I really can't miss on Saturday, so I'm flying out on a red-eye Friday night.
Hopefully Modera has a concierge service where I can drop off my one piece of luggage between checkout and returning from the Visit Day.

The stipend isn't conditional on enrolling, is it?

Wait. There's a Stipend? I only saw that I was invited to the preview.

$400. I forget when I got the notice about it, but I'm pretty sure it came with the preview info.patpa wrote:Wait. There's a Stipend? I only saw that I was invited to the preview.

The stipend was only offered to some people. If you were offered one it was on a piece of paper included in the admissions packet.patpa wrote:Wait. There's a Stipend? I only saw that I was invited to the preview.

At that point, how about people should get together and split one of the hotel rooms. $109/night divided by 3? Not that much more than a hostel.charliep wrote:anyone considering staying in a hostel to save some monies

anyone familiar with the typical cycle of flight prices? a few weeks ago a ticket cost $460, but since then i have not seen it below $650. should i wait it out, or is this as low as it's likely to get?

i use kayak. i was mostly wondering if the prices would continually rise or if there would possibly be a slight fall, but the general internet consensus seems to be they will continue to rise. basically, i made a $200 mistakellachans wrote:It's discussed in this: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 8&t=177032charliep wrote:anyone familiar with the typical cycle of flight prices? a few weeks ago a ticket cost $460, but since then i have not seen it below $650. should i wait it out, or is this as low as it's likely to get?

I was referring to the buying them at the beginning of the week discussion. It'll save you at least some money.charliep wrote:i use kayak. i was mostly wondering if the prices would continually rise or if there would possibly be a slight fall, but the general internet consensus seems to be they will continue to rise. basically, i made a $200 mistakellachans wrote:It's discussed in this: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 8&t=177032charliep wrote:anyone familiar with the typical cycle of flight prices? a few weeks ago a ticket cost $460, but since then i have not seen it below $650. should i wait it out, or is this as low as it's likely to get?
